I've attempted to install every version (A03, A08, A10, and A12) of the Thunderbolt Controller Driver. Please visit Dell web site to download the latest version and update the driver. The Intel Thunderbolt Controller Driver needs to be installed or updated before the Thunderbolt firmware can be updated. Running any version (A03, A04, A05, or A06) of the Thunderbolt 3 firmware update utility aborts with the following identical error message: The latest version of the firmware update utility reports that I am currently on version 02.0B, and that the latest version is 40.00. After several hours of troubleshooting on my own and in a chat session with Dell, I have not yet had any success. As part of troubleshooting this issue, I'd like to make sure the laptop's Thunderbolt 3 drivers and firmware is updated. The laptop is no longer able to connect to any of our TB16 docking stations. Everything appears to be working fine except for Thunderbolt connectivity. We recently had the main board in one of our Latitude 7480 laptops replaced.
